So D was in an Uber driven by a girl, which made her uncomfortable. A + D believe girls shouldn’t be in positions of power. A girl president would probably start a nuclear war just to get abstract vengeance for her period.
Next, the girls discuss Jeffrey Epstein. A points out the J wasn’t doing pedophilia but ephebophilia, and D concurs while noting that the girls were still vulnerable, and those who didn’t know what they were doing remain really traumatized. D declares, “Poor people shouldn’t be sex slaves for rich people.” A (echoing a point Joan Didion makes from a White Album essay…. yas, we read) claims people care about J because they’re empty inside. Neither A nor D feign outrage about the lack of client list, etc. D already went through all the drama with her acclaimed indie film.
As for Puff Daddy, A, who listens to lots of rap, never liked Puffy’s songs. She suggests Puffy make an album, “Black Epstein.” We agree. D and A think overzealous anti-Puffy lawyers overcharged him, and that’s why the jury found him not guilty on so many of the alleged crimes.
Going from an African-American to a South Africa, the girls lambast Elon Musk and his political party. They affirm their DT allegiance by calling Twitter a “cesspool” and making fun of his electric cars. Anna praises a NY Times op-ed by Ross Doohat (sp?) that gives Elon a sly dig. D tells Elon to “go back to Africa.”
There’s an obligatory Zohran mention and his college application, with Z identifying, more or less, as a nigga. The girls don’t really care about this specific incident. Really, everything Z does is annoying, gay, or fag adjacent.
Finally, the girls discuss a UK Guardian article about girls being “choked out” during sex. D makes fun of the anti-choking-sex organization and its re re acronym, and the girls have a nuanced breakdown. It’s not toxic boy versus vulnerable girl, but insecure boys who wanna act dominant, or girls competing with other girls, or presuming they should pretend like they’re creating rough porn content. D claims if you’re with someone u care about, they’ll choke u out the right away. A awkwardly disagrees. Both feel like UK should be more concerned with being raped by illegal immigrants like Ayatollah Barack LeRoi Obama.
